National President’s Report

National meeting is scheduled for September 25 – 28, 2003 in Hilton Head, SC.  Deadline to register is August 19th, 2003; Tom strongly suggested that we register early.

For additional information please visit our web site www.produffersusa.org.

2003 Benefit Tournament

Chairman Cuffee did a superb job in updating members (via formal presentation) on our current sponsorship status.   Major messages: (1) State Farm has graciously decided to be our 2003 TITLE SPONSOR.  This equates to a $30,000 commitment over a three year period.  (2) Each member is expected to deliver a minimum of $400 in financial contributions…this commitment can be met in a number of ways (ex., obtaining sponsorships, selling ads, etc.)  Please see Russ if you would like him to “customize” a packet for potential sponsors, make marketing presentations, or have additional questions.  Our deadline for obtaining sponsor commitments is June 30th.

Uniforms 2003

Please ensure you provide Harvey Lyons with your shirt size asap along with your $75 towards the purchase of two new shirts.  Harvey plans to order the shirts no later than next week.  To expedite the decision process, it was decided that we would defer to the uniform committee to select two ties on behalf of the general body.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!  Dan Mask (Proud Papa) reported that our very own Danielle Mask has decided to Tee It UP at Southwest Texas University.  It was a tough decision given that she had several offers to choose from!!   ….CONGRATULATIONS DANIELLE!!

Meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
