Minutes from the previous meeting were accepted.

The Twin Cities Golf Tournament will be held in Pottsboro, Texas on October 6^th and 7^th2001. The start time for October 6^th is 1:00 P.M. and the start time for October 7^thI is 8:00 P.M.

Treasurer’s Report, Mr. Malthus Northcutt: Current balance on hand as of September 20, 2001, Checking Account $3,314.20 and Savings Account $7,633.15.

Benefit Tournament: This year we broke even with our benefit tournament.

NOTE: As Pro Duffers, our organization needs to start recruiting major sponsors to support our tournament in order to make this event profitable.

The Annual Banquet will be December 7, 2001. A poll will be taken at the Fall Retreat for attendance for the banquet.

A preliminary schedule for the 2002 Tournaments will be presented at the Fall Retreat.

Handicaps: Handicaps will be determined from previous scores.

NEW OFFICERS: The officers for 2002 and 2003 were voted into office by acclamation by the members present at the September 27^th meeting. The new officers are:

Jerry Woodard, Vice President

Mike Edwards, Secretary

Mark Cooks, Financial Secretary

Leroy Harris, Treasurer

Note: Truman Thomas will replace the late Dr. Kidd as the President of the North Texas Junior Golf and Education Program. Howard Aldridge will serve as the Vice President and Thomas Sweeney will serve as the Secretary.

The retreat is on for Saturday at Garden Valley....7:00 meeting
