The meeting was called to order by Mr. Thomas Sweeney, president at 7:13 P.M.
The agenda was distributed.
Members present: Mark Cooks, Aric Cooper, Lorenzo Dixon, Leroy Harris, Lloyd Iglehart Sr., Warren Lee, Joe Long, Eddie Mayberry, Roy McClaney, Malthus Northcutt, Roy Rogers, Lowell Satchell, Thomas Sweeney, Truman Thomas, and Carl Williams.
Correspondence: Fort Worth Golf 2001, Inner City Golf Tournament will be held at the Meadow Brook Golf Course, June 10, 9:30 A.M, 18 holes medal play and a $60.00 entry fee. The contact person is L. Harvey, 817-429-1426.
The Eastern Golf Club is having their 37th Open Tournament June 29, 30, and
July 1, 2001 at the John Conrad and Lincoln Park Golf Courses in Oklahoma, City. Contact Harold Wilson at 405-732-6352.
Black Tie Gala Round IX will be a knock out affair! The Mid-Cities Texas Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will host its annual fundraiser, Black Tie Boxing, Saturday, August 18, 2001 at the Fairmount Hotel. Contact Beverly Lyle at 214-

The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Bridge Builder Foundation 13th Annual Benefit Tournament will be held at Country View Golf Course, in Lancaster, Tx. on July 28, 2001. The entry fee is $60.00. Contact person is Jerry Woodard at 817-572-5117 or Rodney Johnson at 817-572-1820.
Uniforms: Eric Cooper reported that anyone who ordered new uniforms were available at the meeting. Tournament director, Roy McClaney, made a motion to table to move the tees for different golf courses.
Committee Reports: Waiting for information from Hubert Threats.
Treasurers Report: Malthus Northcutt issued an updated copy of the treasurer’s account.
Benefit Tournament: We are still looking for major sponsors and players.
Junior Golfers and Foundation Plan Report was given by Truman Thomas.
Handicaps: Updated handicaps sheets were passed out.
Dan Mask gave an updated report and provided information on the Texas State Amateur Golf Association.

New Business: No New Business
A motion was made by Eddie Mayberry and seconded by Leroy Harris to donate $200.00 for advertising.
