March 22, 2001 

The meeting was called to order by the President, Thomas Sweeney at 7:22 pm

The agenda was distributed.

Minutes from the previous meeting were read and accepted with one amendment

Roy Rogers suggested that the next tournament data and location be added to the minutes. It was motioned by Eddie Mayberry and second by Roy Rogers. The motion passed.

Members present: Russ Cuffee, Dan Evans, Andy Flye, Leroy Harris, Warren Lee, Joe Long, Eddie Mayberry, Roy Mc Claney, Roy Rogers, Thomas Sweeney, Jerry Woodard and Ira Murry.

R.L. Turner High School is having a drive-a-thon to raise money for there golf team and because Danielle Mask is a Pro Duffer Junior Golfer this will be turned over to the Junior Golf foundation, but you can make individual donation.

No financial report.

Tournament account balance as of March 22, 2001 is $2,338.12

Pro Duffers membership book were issued to the new members or their sponsors for member not in attendance.

Committee Reports: Andy Flye handed out totals of all tournaments that members played in and explained how the handicaps are determined from the information.

Tournament Directors: Roy Mc Claney and Roy Rogers, Please note: REGISTRATION WILL BE CUT OFF 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE FIRST TEE TIME, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Benefit tournament; Russ Cuffee for early information their will be major construction on FM1177 so allow plenty of time for travel to the golf course.

Junior Golf: No Report

Foundation: No Report.

Social director: Larry Holbert will soon join the retired ranks, congratulations Larry!

Constitutions Bylaws: No report

Uniform: A decision will be made at the next meeting on uniforms.

Spring fling: Gulf Port Casino, Mississippi, April 27, 28 & 29 2001, uniforms will be #1, #2, #3.

National convention: Montego Bay Jamaica, September 27, 28, 29, 30 2001.

Old business: Ron Parker had back surgery, take it easy Ron

Next tournament: April 7th Coyote Ridge, Carrollton, check in at 11am.

Next meeting: April 26, 2001 7pm at Wells Fargo Bank Building.
