Call to Order
Meeting called to Order at 7:10 p.m. by Chapter President – Jerry Woodard
In Attendance (21 members present for a quorum)
Jerome Caulk, Russ Cuffee, Lorenzo Dixon, Mike Edwards, Andy Flye, Neil Halliday, Curt Harris, Frank Hatchett, Clyde Henderson, Ike Iglehart Sr., Welby Ina, Joe Johnson, Darryl Jones, Joe Long, Dan Mask, Eddie Mayberry, Tom Sweeney, Truman Thomas, Richard Washington, Morris Whitaker, Jerry Woodard.
Chapter President Comments – Jerry Woodard
Jerry made opening comments reminding the member of our mission….to have fun, promote golf, and support the Jr. Golf initiatives. In addition, he announced that all future meetings would be held at this central location.
MOTION for Minutes from February meeting were seconded and approved
National President’s Report – Tom Sweeney
| Memphis Chapter will host the 2004 Spring Fling April 23 - 25 |
| To date, only nine SW Pro Duffers have signed up |
| Need high handicap players |
| Atlanta Chapter will host the 2004 National Meeting in Orlando, Fl |
| Wants someone from SW Pro Duffers to run for office |

Financial report – Truman Thomas
There are 49 paid members which means 7 members are overdue.
Motion made and seconded that the 2004 budget be accepted…motion carried
Tournament Committee – Ike Sr.
| Ike Sr., presented the winnings from the March tournament |
| He asked that members notify him a week in advance if they are going to play in the next scheduled tournament. |
2004 Benefit Tournament – Russ Cuffee
| Chairman Cuffee reported reviewed tournament flyer and pertinent details |
| Friday will consist of a Corporate outing which includes a racing event at Texas Motor Speedway |
| Each member is asked to raise $500 in sponsorship |
| Remember, Junior Golf mission can help us sell the merits of being a sponsor and we can provide a team of salesmen to achieve the above |
| Motion was made and passed to form a separate foundation with 501C3 status specifically for the SW Pro Duffers |

Remarks – Dan Mask
Dan gave a report on Danielle’s progress and indicated she is continuing to do a job job with both golf and her studies. He reiterated that Danielle would very much like for us to attend her tournaments where possible and to receive emails…she can be reached at www.GolfingWithDanielle.com
