Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Thomas Sweeney, President at 7:00 P.M.

The agenda was distributed.

Members present: Jerome Caulk, Mark Cooks, Aric Cooper, Russ Cuffee, Lorenzo Dixon, Andy Flye, Leroy Harris, Rick Heiskell, Warren Lee, Joe Long, Eddie Mayberry, Malthus Northcutt, Roy Rogers, Thomas Sweeney, Dan Mask, and Truman Thomas.

No Correspondence.

Minutes from the previous meeting were read and accepted.

Financial Report: Malthus Northcutt issued an updated copy of the checking and savings accounts as of May 31, 2001. The tournament account as of June 28, 2001 is $1,398.39.

Handicap Report: Andy Flye gave an update on handicaps, (“ so read them and send all complaints to the U.S.G.C. in Bogey, Texas 456”).

Congratulations to Jerry Woodard for his advancement to the Championship Flight. 

Benefit Tournament: Russ Cuffee reported that there would NOT be any raffle tickets to sell! YEA!!!

***NEEDED*** All Pro Duffers not playing in the tournament to work with the Junior Golfers and other activities to support the Benefit Tournament.

Foundation Report: Truman Thomas gave an update on the foundation.

Dan Mask gave an update on the Texas State Tournament.

The National Convention will be held in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Next Tournament: July 29, 2001 at the Old Brick Yard

Uniform # 1 -Yellow Shirt and Navy Shorts or Slacks. 

The check in time is 9:00 A.M.
