General Meeting

Meeting called to Order at 7:00 p.m. by Chapter President – Warren Lee
In Attendance (17 members present for a quorum)
Jerome Caulk, Russ Cuffee, Lorenzo Dixon, Mike Edwards, Dan Evans, Andy Flye, Rick Heiskell, Joe Johnson, Warren Lee, Dan Mask, Eddie Mayberry, Robert Roussell, Tom Sweeney, Shad Sias, Truman Thomas, Bill Turnley, Jerry Woodard.

National President’s Report – Tom Sweeney
| Currently there are 200 people registered for the National Tournament - 75 registered in the last 2 weeks which if this trend continues will be problematic for future national tournaments |
| We will have 11 SW Pro Duffers attending of which 5 will be delegates chaired by Jerry Woodard…these delegates will represent and vote on behalf of the SW chapter on any issues tee’d up. At the present time, no constitutional issues have been identified. |
| Memphis Chapter will host the 2004 Spring Fling |
| Atlanta Chapter will host the 2004 National Meeting |

2003 Benefit Tournament – Russ Cuffee
| Chairman Cuffee reported that the Benefit tournament was an overwhelming success and this sentiment was echoed by the members present. |
| A profit was made in the amount of $7,427.79 |

| Nine new members were submitted for consideration and
were APPROVED as follows:

IT WAS STRONGLY SUGGESTED THAT A REVIEW AND REVAMPING OF THE NEW MEMBER INDOCTRINATION PROCESS TAKE PLACE ASAP…AT A MINIMUM THE NEW MEMBERS SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN AN ORIENTATION AND BE PROVIDED WITH A HANDBOOK AS WE HAVE DONE IN THE PAST

unanimous decision as follows:

To be appointed - Tournament Director, Social Director, Historian, Parliamentarian
| Eddie Mayberry provided further planning information (please check website for further details) for the Fall Retreat to be held at Eagles Bluff on Saturday, October 18th. | ||||||||
| It was voted and deemed appropriate to invite the aforementioned new members to attend both the retreat meeting and golf outing. To that end, a welcome/invitation letter will be sent to the new members by our President asap. | ||||||||
