The Waggle and Forward Press
The Waggle: This is a series of loose back and forth movements of the club behind the ball. Move the clubhead 12 to 24 inches from the ball along the backswing and downswing club path. Set the club down immediately before starting the backswing. A key swing thought during the waggle is to
relax both forearms and shoulders.
The Forward Press: This is a slight movement of the hands towards the target that starts the seeing motion in an unhurried, coordinated manner.

Encourage a smooth, fluid takeaway by 'waggling' the club a couple of times. Keep the forearms and shoulders loose to stay relaxed.

Take the clubhead back and forth along a line to the target to reinforce your proper alignment.

Many pros start the swing with a slight 'forward press' of the hands. Others start with a slight movement of the right knee toward the target. It's a matter of preference.
